About Me

Peter Seheult
BIO
Peter Seheult began his music instruction at the early age of six under his father’s tutelage, and then shortly after with a local private piano teacher. After high school, Peter continued his piano studies with Prof. Rhona Hodgen at La Sierra University in Riverside, California. He later transferred his music studies to California State University, San Bernardino under the instruction of Prof. Larry McFatter.
In 1990, both Peter and his brother, Roger, began pipe organ studies with Prof. Kimo Smith at Loma Linda University Church in Loma Linda, California. Thus began Peter’s introduction to church service playing and music ministry to God’s glory for currently over twenty-six years.
After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Piano Performance in 1993, Peter later graduated from the University of Redlands in 2002 with a Masters of Music degree in Organ Performance under the instruction of Prof. Irmengard Jennings and Prof. Jeffrey Rickard.
In 2004 Peter enrolled at the University of Western Ontario (UWO), in London, Ontario, Canada, and later graduated as a Certified Piano Technician in 2005. After moving back to Southern California, he began servicing pianos in the area. Much gratitude to fellow technician and friend, Greg Shultz, for his expertise and guidance that helped in those early years. Later, Peter also became a show-room technician and field technician for So-Cal Pianos store in Ontario, California, a major piano dealer in the So-Cal area.
Peter and his wife, Katie, and their four children currently live in Central Idaho where he services pianos and offers piano instruction in person and virtually. He enjoys helping students explore their musical potential and sharing his love for music ministry and glorifying God.
